The elven monarchs of Fairlath—known as the Starborne Dynasty—are wise and long-lived, their rule marked by harmony, art, and diplomacy. Queen Aerynthalë Starborne, the current sovereign, is renowned not only for her ethereal beauty and command of nature magic, but also for her warmth and open hand to the wider world.

Though elves are the dominant race within Fairlath, the kingdom is a bastion of peace and cooperation. Dwarven traders, human scholars, halfling farmers, and even the occasional Baggeeran emissary walk freely in the capital of Ilyandor, a city of white towers and floating gardens.
